Where does wget download files? (Docker)

I can’t get my head around where the wget downloads files. Could anybody help me out? It states that the file is saved but still no trace of it can be found. I tried with -P and without, bearing in mind the fact that the file should’ve been downloaded into my current directory. Where could the problem lie? What should I do to actually download files with wget?

FROM php:7.4-apache
RUN  apt-get update
  && apt-get install -y wget
  && rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*
RUN wget https://file.txt
