How to run curl command in bash terminal on windows?

I am trying to get Laravel going on Windows 10. In their docs they first tell to install Docker together with wsl2 (linux bash terminal for windows) and then run curl -s https://laravel.build/example-app | bash in the linux terminal.

So I did but the terminal shows: -sh: curl: not found

I’m not very familiar with how docker and wsl2 work and tried to install curl manually: apt-get install curl only to find the apt-get missing: -sh: apt-get: not found

Is there a specific dir I have to run the curl command in?
