Container Host VM copy protection

  docker, docker-compose, licensing, virtual-machine

we are deploying our product to customers with or without internet connection via docker-compose on a VM.
Our licensing for the online customers works via a licensing server and for our offline customers we provide a licesing file that has a certian "credit score" and can be uploaded to the deployment via HTTP Request/our Frontend. This licensing file is basically a JWT and has good enough protection for us.

I’m now afraid of customers that copy our VM. I investigated a little bit regarding unique identifiers of VMs.
According to this : https://docs.sentinel.thalesgroup.com/ldk/LDKdocs/SPNL/LDK_SLnP_Guide/A-CloneDetection/CloneDetection_VM.htm.
The UUID of the Virtual Maschine would be sufficient for us. I know its not tamper-proof, but at least its something.

Now the question: How do I access the UUID of the Virual Maschine (VMID) from within the containers ?
Regards !
