How do I get Docker build to use yum instead of apt-get?

  apt-get, build, docker, gradle, yum

I am trying to setup a container using gradle with the following command:

./gradlew build website

the gradle use the Following docker build command :

docker build -t website

I use Centos OS but, I get the Following :

FROM debian:stretch-slim
 running
 apt-get update
  RUN apt-get update     && apt-get install -y --no-install-recommends         ca-certificates         curl         git         gnupg2         gosu         lynx     && apt-get autoremove -yqq --purge     && apt-get clean     && rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/

and the Following error :

* What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':website:buildDockerImage'.
> Process 'command 'docker'' finished with non-zero exit value 100

Is there a way to get it to use yum instead of apt-get?
