How to capture application log in external file for wildfly using standalone.xml

I am using Wildfly docker image in Windows machine. Need to send application logs to an external file. I am running docker image like

docker run -p 8080:8080 –env MYLOGS=C:/Mylogs wildflytest-app:v.1.0.0.5.
In standalone.xml set the path as

<paths>
            <path name="logfile.path" path="${env.MYLOGS}" />
        </paths>

and in logging module added

<periodic-rotating-file-handler name="MY_HANDLER" autoflush="true">
        <formatter>
                   <named-formatter name="PATTERN"/>
               </formatter>
               <file relative-to="logfile.path" path="applogs.log"/>
                   <suffix value=".yyyy-MM-dd"/>
                   <append value="true"/>
           </periodic-rotating-file-handler>
           <logger category="com.wildlfy" use-parent-handlers="false">
               <level name="INFO"/>
               <handlers>
                   <handler name="MY_HANDLER"/>
               </handlers>
           </logger>

Earlier the log was getting published in console only, but after adding logging handler it is not captured in console also.I can’t see the log file created in the location specified as well.
Also not sure if my path value is read in standalone.xml. echo is not accepted in standalone.xml file . How can I check that?
