I have a Windows 2016 ec2 instance and trying to pull debian there, but since the docker architecture is windows/amd64, it not able to build the image. I want to now change it to linux and not sure how to do it because Docker Cli is not installed.
So far I tried:
>docker version Client: Version: 18.09.3 API version: 1.39 Go version: go1.10.8 Git commit: 142dfcedca Built: 02/28/2019 06:33:17 OS/Arch: windows/amd64 Experimental: false Server: Engine: Version: 18.09.3 API version: 1.39 (minimum version 1.24) Go version: go1.10.8 Git commit: 142dfcedca Built: 02/28/2019 06:31:15 OS/Arch: windows/amd64 Experimental: false >docker pull debian Using default tag: latest latest: Pulling from library/debian no matching manifest for unknown in the manifest list entries
In power shell wanted to run this but no such folder.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to get debian image in Windows 2016? Any help would be appreciated.
